Smart Woman Securities (SWS) at Claremont McKenna College is dedicated to fostering financial literacy, investment knowledge, and professional development among undergraduate women from all backgrounds. Through a focus on education, mentorship, and real-world experience, our chapter empowers members to explore careers in finance with confidence.
New members participate in a seminar series that introduces key financial concepts and industry insights. This foundation helps prepare students for recruiting and internships across a variety of finance sectors.
In addition, we offer a year-long financial literacy program tailored to underclassmen interested in pursuing careers in finance. Designed and led by experienced upperclassmen who have successfully navigated the recruiting process.
